Abstract

The convergence of CRISPR-Cas genome editing, synthetic biology, and artificial intelligence (AI) is redefining the landscape
of modern genetic engineering. Each of these fields independently revolutionized biological science — CRISPR providing
precision gene editing, synthetic biology enabling programmable life systems, and AI offering predictive modeling and design
optimization. When combined, they present unprecedented opportunities for creating intelligent biological systems,
accelerating genetic research, and addressing global challenges in health, agriculture, and environmental sustainability. This
review explores how the integration of AI with CRISPR and synthetic biology enhances gene-editing accuracy, optimizes
design processes, and enables data-driven innovation. It further discusses current applications, emerging tools, ethical
considerations, and future perspectives in this transformative triad of technologies.
